Cased Taxidermy European Robin Erithacus rubecula with Department of the Environment Registration Label - A taxidermy specimen of a European Robin Erithacus rubecula presented in a naturalistic mount. The bird is posed perched upon a mound of dried moss and earth. The plumage is well-preserved, showing the characteristic orange-red breast and olive-brown upperparts. The specimen is housed within a rectangular glass-fronted display case featuring a dark-stained wooden frame. The glass edges are finished with a decorative green and white patterned paper binding. To the interior of the case, a vertical white printed label is visible reading D.O.E. 088352. On the exterior front of the glass, there is a white rectangular adhesive sticker with the handwritten number 19270 in black ink.
