A Collection of Antique Pewter Measures, Haystack Jugs, and a Tankard - A collection of pewter tavern wares comprising a large tankard, conical measures, and baluster measures. The prominent large tankard features an engraved floral spray to the body and a double-scroll handle terminating in a heart-shaped terminal. The assembly includes several conical vessels of the haystack form, varying in capacity, alongside several bulbous baluster-shaped tavern measures. The items display a characteristic grey patina associated with aged pewter. A white rectangular adhesive label is applied to the side of the tallest conical jug reading 12520 in black ink. An incised character T is visible on the body of one smaller baluster measure situated to the right of the group. No other maker marks or country of origin stamps are legible on the visible surfaces.
