A Vintage Esso Blue Paraffin Can - A mid-20th century metal paraffin can, finished in cream-coloured paint. The body features a recessed panel on one side containing blue block lettering which reads ESSO BLUE, followed by PARAFFIN in a smaller font directly below. The vessel is constructed with a fixed metal carry handle and a knurled brass-toned screw cap. A pouring spout is fitted to the top, containing a smaller internal tube. A small white rectangular adhesive label is positioned on the shoulder of the can, bearing the handwritten numbers 12870. Aside from the printed product branding ESSO BLUE PARAFFIN, no other manufacturer names or marks are discernible on the visible surfaces.
