A British Four Oaks Metal Hand-Operated Garden Sprayer - A vintage hand-operated garden or agricultural sprayer of metal construction. The piece features a central cylindrical tank housing a plunger mechanism, which is operated by a long metal rod terminating in a cast metal T-handle. Extending from the base of the tank is a long metal outlet pipe, around which a weathered, fabric-covered hose is tightly coiled. The central tank bears embossed lettering arranged in three horizontal lines: the top line reads THE, the middle line reads FOUR OAKS, and the bottom line reads ENGLAND. A small white rectangular adhesive inventory sticker is affixed to the side of the tank body, bearing the printed black number 12876.
