A Meccano Mogul Pressed Steel Aerial Ladder Fire Engine - A vintage Meccano Mogul series fire engine constructed from red-painted pressed steel with a silver-grey extendable aerial ladder. The vehicle is equipped with six black tyres, each embossed with the manufacturer name MECCANO, fitted to white plastic wheel hubs bearing a capital M logo in relief. The side of the ladder is printed with the text MOGUL FIRE-FIGHTER in black capital letters, and the side of the truck body features the word FIRE in white with a black outline. The truck includes functional manual winding knobs for ladder extension and elevation, a white cord, and a brass-finished front-mounted bell. An adhesive white lot label from Shellys Auctioneers marked 132 is affixed to the side, along with a secondary rectangular label marked 12870. A small white card tag marked 512 is attached to the end of the ladder by a thin cord.
