A pressed steel Jones KL 44 mobile crane toy - A pressed steel toy modelled as a mobile industrial crane. The item is finished in red and black paintwork and features a lattice-style boom, an enclosed operator's cab with two manual side cranks for controlling the hoist and boom elevation, and a four-wheeled chassis. The crane is fitted with four black rubber tyres and a suspended block and hook attachment. On the upper section of the boom, there are printed characters that read JONES KL 44 CRANE. The rubber tyres feature embossed lettering around the sidewalls which is not clearly legible. There are two modern paper labels present: a white adhesive label on the chassis reading SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 135 01132502626 and a smaller tag on the cab marked with the numerals 12870.
