Tri-ang KL44 Pressed Steel Mobile Crane - An English-made mobile crane constructed from pressed steel and die-cast metal. The model features a red cab and lattice-style boom mounted on a black chassis. It is equipped with four black rubber tyres, which are embossed on the sidewalls with the manufacturer name TRI-ANG and the origin MADE IN ENGLAND. The tip of the boom displays white printed characters reading KL 44. Mechanical operation is achieved via two metal crank handles on the cab side, controlling the boom elevation and the weighted metal hook. A small blue and white adhesive label on the cab reads 12870. A larger white paper auction tag attached to the side is printed with SHELBY'S AUCTIONEERS LOT 141.
