Paris Jones. The larger trophy is a two-handled cup form featuring a decorative scrolled rim and is inscribed PURLEY RIFLE CLUB WINNER C. PARIS JONES. 1924. It bears Sheffield hallmarks including a crown, a lion passant, the date letter g for 1924, and the maker mark CB over S. The second trophy is a hammered-finish silver footed bowl with lug handles, inscribed PURLEY RIFLE CLUB ARCHER CUP C. PARIS JONES. and bears Sheffield hallmarks for 1925 with the date letter h and maker mark CB over and S. Both items are mounted on turned dark circular bases.
