A Collection of Vintage British Nickel-Plated Whistles, an Embroidered CSA Ribbon, and a Hohner Harmonica Box - A collection comprising several nickel-plated brass whistles, an embroidered textile ribbon, and a cardboard storage box. The group features a pea-style whistle stamped THE THUNDERER PATENT, identified as a product of J. Hudson and Co (Acme), Birmingham. Included is a triple-tone signalling whistle with three distinct barrels of varying lengths, a design commonly utilised for high-volume signalling by police or railway personnel. A large cylindrical whistle, conforming to the British General Service pattern, is attached to a white twisted cotton rope lanyard. A smaller cylindrical whistle is provided on a short metal link chain. The blue ribbed fabric ribbon is embroidered with a shield depicting the Coat of Arms of England featuring three lions passant guardant, accompanied by the letters C S A. Accompanying the items is a maroon cardboard box originally for a Hohner Band harmonica, featuring lithographic circular portraits of women and printed text reading THE HOHNER BAND MADE BY M. HOHNER GERMANY.
