Victorian Arched Cast Iron Fireplace Insert with Grate and Ash Pan Cover - A Victorian cast iron fireplace insert of arched form. The central aperture is bordered by an ornate band of cast-in relief foliate and floral scrollwork. The fire back features a decorative neoclassical scroll and anthemion motif. The side panels are designed with vertical fluting and accented by decorative floral medallions and scrolls. The assembly includes an integrated five-bar tiered grate and a separate matching ash pan cover with a simple rounded profile. The entire unit is finished in traditional polished graphite giving it a soft metallic sheen.
