A Vintage Wooden Single-Seat Leisure Kayak with Paddles and Cradle - A vintage single-seat wooden kayak featuring a plywood hull and deck construction with solid hardwood coamings and trim. The vessel is designed with a narrow profile and decked-over bow and stern sections. The exterior deck is finished in a two-tone pale green and khaki paint, while the hull sides exhibit a decorative multi-coloured scheme consisting of dark green, red, and orange or yellow stripes. The interior cockpit area is painted black. The craft is supplied with a custom-built wooden storage and display cradle. Accompanying equipment includes two single-bladed wooden paddles with differing blade designs and a yellow waterproof storage or flotation bag containing various mooring ropes. A contemporary adhesive lot tag with barcodes and printed characters is attached to a rope on the bow; no original manufacturer plates or hull identification numbers are visible on the craft. Overall length: approximately 4.5 – 5 metres.
