An Art Deco Walnut Mantel Clock and a Pair of Sculptural Wooden Trinket Chests - This lot comprises an Art Deco mantel clock of stepped architectural form and a pair of matching sculptural wooden trinket chests. The clock features a case with figured walnut veneers and a contrasting dark wood plinth base. The circular dial has a silvered chapter ring with black Arabic numerals and a wood-veneered centre, protected by a chrome-plated bezel with convex glass. Three winding arbors are present, indicating a mechanical movement with a striking or chiming complication, likely Westminster chime. The dial is marked FOREIGN at the base and bears a partially legible maker mark above the numeral six, possibly identifying it as a Perivale manufacture. The pair of trinket chests are of mid-century modern influence, hand-carved from a dense hardwood with an organic, curvilinear form. Each chest contains three drawers with handles carved in the shape of fish.
