A Trio of Ceramic Items including a Scheurich Keramik Floor Vase and a Modern Chinese Porcelain Vase and Planter - This collection comprises three ceramic items: a mid-century West German floor vase and a matching pair of modern Chinese decorative porcelain pieces. The large floor vase is produced by Scheurich Keramik and is of a fluted pedestal form with relief-moulded foliate and scrollwork bands. It is finished in a mottled brown glaze with dark green highlights applied to the moulded decorative elements. The base is incised with the factory mark scheurich-KERAMIK, the model number 706-40, and W. GERMANY. The pair of Chinese porcelain items consists of a cylindrical vase with a flared rim and foot, and a matching globular planter featuring a central drainage hole. Both are decorated with traditional-style motifs of colourful butterflies and floral patterns, including peonies, enriched with gilt outlines. They feature green-glazed moulded shell or foliate patterns at the rims and bases. Both pieces bear a red stamped mark on the underside comprising a diamond shape containing the words MADE IN CHINA alongside the characters 中国制造. The vase also retains a modern retail barcode sticker. Scheurich floor vase height: approximately 40 cm.
