The timepiece features a manual wind movement signed Astral and 7 Jewels, bearing the serial number 805282 which matches the case components. The white enamel dial is printed with the Coventry Astral brand name and a five-pointed star symbol, featuring Roman numeral hour markers, an outer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial located at the 6 o'clock position. The case is a Moon grade gold-filled, also known as rolled gold, example produced by the Dennison Watch Case Co. Ltd. of Birmingham.
