A Collection of Polished Brass Domestic Metalware including a Spirit Kettle and Candlesticks - A collection of polished brass domestic metalware, styled in the late 19th and early 20th-century British tradition. The collection includes a pair of cast brass candlesticks of traditional baluster form, featuring multi-knop stems on stepped rectangular bases. The undersides show construction with modern-style threaded rods and hexagonal nuts. Also included is a tilting spirit kettle on a scrolling brass stand, mounted on an octagonal wooden base. The kettle has an ebonised wooden handle and lid finial, and includes a matching spirit burner. The assembly also features a beverage or punch warmer, with a cylindrical vessel suspended within a tall arched frame, complete with its spirit burner at the base. No maker's marks are visible on any of the pieces.
