A Collection of Decorative Glassware and Art Pottery including Watcombe Torquay and Fenton Carnival Glass - An assortment of decorative glassware and regional English art pottery. The collection includes a blue-glazed Watcombe Torquay pottery bowl, hand-painted with a bird perched on a branch to the interior and bearing the hand-painted inscription Master Bakers, Confectioners & Caterers to the rim. The base features the stamped mark Watcombe, Torquay, England. Also included is a green carnival glass bowl by the Fenton Art Glass Company, featuring an iridescent marigold-on-green finish with the Peacock and Grapes pattern to the interior and the Beaded Berry pattern to the exterior. A large cut crystal bowl is included, featuring a deep circular form with intricate geometric star and diamond cut patterns to the base and fan-cut motifs rising towards a scalloped and serrated rim. The collection also features an art glass basket vase with a deep amethyst interior cased in clear glass with red-trailed lines, an applied clear glass handle with textured rigaree decoration, and four pulled feet. A spherical glass paperweight with a central multi-coloured frit inclusion in a conical form completes the group.
