The lot contains a diverse range of materials including plastic, metal in gold and silver-tone finishes, shell, and glass. The styles featured are extensive, encompassing dome-head, flat, two-hole, four-hole, and shank-backed buttons in a wide variety of colours and sizes. The collection is housed across several containers, including multiple clear plastic and glass jars of sorted and unsorted mixed buttons, and a cardboard tray containing several clear plastic bags of bulk metallic dome buttons. The entire collection is stored within a repurposed Panasonic SD-YR2540 cardboard box.
