A Seiko Sonola Transistorised Pendulum Wall Clock - A Seiko Sonola transistorised wall clock of Japanese manufacture. The clock is housed in a rectangular dark-stained wooden case with a hinged glass front door. The dial features a decorative wood-grain effect with a recessed concentric square pattern and applied cream-coloured three-dimensional Arabic numerals. The dial is marked SEIKO at the 12 o'clock position, TRANSISTOR above the 6 o'clock position, and JAPAN at the bottom edge. Apertures at the 6 o'clock position display the day and date calendar complication. Time is indicated by two wide, white-painted hands with central linear cutouts. The lower section of the door features a textured silver-toned band above a clear glass panel decorated with white linear and starburst motifs, through which a pendulum is visible. The interior of the case reveals the day and date wheel mechanisms and the pendulum bob. The clock is powered by a battery-operated transistor movement.
