A Collection of UK and International Coins with a Royal Mint National Trust Commemorative Medal - This collection consists of an assortment of UK pre-decimal and decimal coinage alongside international pieces and a commemorative medal. The central item is a silver-coloured commemorative medal struck by the Royal Mint, presented in a green hinged box with the Royal Mint crest. The obverse of the medal features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother with the inscription ELIZABETH II REGINAE MATER PRAESES, while the reverse displays an oak sprig with acorns and the repeating inscription NATIONAL TRUST. The international coins include an IE 1970 heptagonal 50 pence coin featuring a woodcock and a KE 1985 heptagonal 5 shillings coin depicting President Daniel arap Moi. The remainder of the group comprises various UK bronze and cupro-nickel coins, including pennies and halfpennies featuring the portraits of George V, George VI, and Elizabeth II, many of which display the Golden Hind reverse design. Several cupro-nickel sixpences dated between 1948 and 1958 are also present.
