Two items comprising a small dark wood three-drawer chest and a large polychrome ceramic vase - A lot consisting of a small chest of drawers and a decorative ceramic vase. The chest is constructed from dark-stained wood and contains three drawers, each featuring a recessed square panel set with a colourful illustration of a patterned, tribal-style mask. The large ceramic vase of bulbous form is finished in a cream-coloured crackle glaze. It is decorated with an all-over polychrome foliate pattern consisting of scrolling vines, lobed leaves, and stylized floral motifs in shades of green, gold, red, and orange. No maker's marks or inscriptions are visible on either item.
