The rectangular case features a lift-up lid set with an unengraved brass plaque and a single lower drawer. It is fitted with brass-toned bail handles to the sides. The interior is lined with black anti-tarnish cloth and contains fitted slots for flatware. An oval maker label is located on the interior lid. The second item is a cabinet-style canteen in dark-stained wood. The exterior is decorated with a carved Greek key border to the top and fluted pilasters to the front.
