UK St. Helena 2025 Gold One Sovereign East India Company V-E Day 80th Anniversary - A 2025 gold one sovereign coin issued by The East India Company (London) for the British Overseas Territory of St. Helena to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (V-E Day). The obverse features the uncrowned left-facing portrait of HM King Charles III with the legend CHARLES III · DEI · GRA · REX · F · D · ST. HELENA · 2025. The reverse features a commemorative design with a stylized central V flanked by eagle wings and ribbons, inscribed VICTORY IN EUROPE and 80TH ANNIVERSARY with dual dates 1945 and 2025. Struck in 22 carat gold with a milled edge in a proof finish. The coin is housed in its original protective plastic capsule and complete presentation suite, comprising a high-gloss black inner display case, a textured black outer box, and a Certificate of Authenticity. This specimen is edition number 291 from a limited mintage of 699 pieces.
