A Pair of Gibraltar 2020 22ct Gold Proof Quarter Sovereigns - A pair of commemorative 22ct gold coins issued by Gibraltar in 2020. Each coin carries a denomination of Quarter Sovereign. The obverse of both coins features a right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by the inscription ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REGINA GIBRALTAR 2020. The reverse of the first coin depicts a stylized 80th-anniversary design incorporating a Spitfire aircraft and a naval vessel. The reverse of the second coin displays the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom. Both coins are struck to a proof finish with mirrored fields and frosted devices. The coins are presented in individual acrylic magnetic display cases, each with a gold-toned identification plaque, and housed together in a black velvet-lined presentation box.
