A Collection of Vintage Cast Brass Elephant Figurines - This collection comprises an assortment of vintage cast brass elephant figurines in various sizes and decorative styles. The lot includes a larger elephant in a trumpeting pose with its trunk raised, a medium sized elephant featuring an incised decorative caparison, and a group of three small elephants walking in single file on a curved integral base. Also present is a flat two dimensional cast metal elephant plaque or component featuring concentric linear texturing to the body and heavy surface patination. Several smaller elephant calves and two small items shaped as elephant heads, potentially serving as furniture mounts or decorative hooks, are included. The items are primarily cast brass with natural aged finishes. One figurine bears a white adhesive label for Shobrook and Co, Plymouth, and another features a handwritten tag marked E702C.
