A Pair of Glazed Terracotta Garden Planters with Olive Medallions - A pair of contemporary garden planters constructed from earthenware terracotta with a glossy cream-white exterior glaze. Each pot is of tapered cylindrical form featuring a wide rounded rim and two raised horizontal ribs around the upper body. The side of each planter is decorated with a moulded oval relief medallion depicting a fruiting olive branch; the medallion is left unglazed, showing the reddish-brown terracotta body. The interiors are unglazed and each pot has a single central drainage hole in the base. Each planter bears a white rectangular adhesive label on the rim marked G1004P in black ink.
