Two Antique Mahogany Tables Including a George III style Tea Table and a Victorian style Sutherland Table - This lot comprises two mahogany tables of differing antique forms. The first is a George III style tea table featuring a solid mahogany fold-over top. The top opens to reveal a second surface and is supported by an apron with a single frieze drawer. The drawer front is decorated with cockbeading and an ornate, pierced brass escutcheon. The table stands on four straight, square-section legs. The second item is a Victorian style Sutherland table constructed from figured mahogany. It consists of a narrow rectangular central top with two large, rounded drop leaves. The leaves are supported by four swinging gate-legs, which form part of a twin-pillar trestle base joined by a central stretcher. All six legs and the stretcher display ring-turned decoration, and the feet are raised on small castors. No maker marks or labels are visible on either piece.
