AN EXTREMELY RARE 1860 AND UNIQUE MATCHED PAIR OF DOUBLE BARREL JAPANESE PERCISSION CARRIAGE PISTOLS CIRCA 1860 - The pistols with cannon muzzles and frames of sentoku (brass of bronze) both well stamped with Meiji registration numbers. The quality of the inlay is of the finest carver work. The stocks are finely fluted and the master carver and inlayers signature appears on the forward inside curve of each stock.
