Japanese Wakizashi Sword in Koshirae - Signed Tong - Traditional Japanese wakizashi sword in mounted fittings, featuring a single-edged steel blade with a defined point and visible surface patterning; fitted with a copper habaki and a simple circular iron tsuba. The tsuka (hilt) is wrapped in brown cord over ray-skin panels (samegawa), with a decorative metal kashira (pommel cap) showing an allover floral/scroll motif. Accompanied by a black lacquer saya (scabbard) with areas of wear/loss. The tang (nakago) is inscribed on both sides (signature/inscription present).
