The fourth variant was produced at the Leningrad Mint in 1954–1957. On the obverse, the top of the torch is similar to that of the third variant — large, with three flame petals in the lower row. The mint mark was modified: it is large, with tall letters. The height of both lines of the hallmark is approximately 4 mm. The fourth variant was issued in batches and is encountered within three serial-number ranges: First batch (likely early 1954): Lowest known serial number — 364,075 Highest known serial number — 380,931 Second batch (August–December 1954): Lowest known serial number — 422,492 Highest known serial number — 443,552 Third batch (produced in series from March 1955 to September 1957; numbering continuous without interruption): Lowest known serial number — 450,253 Highest known serial number — 566,746.
