Russian Soviet Order of Mother Heroine & Full Set of Silver Orders of Moternal Glory - Russian Soviet Order of Mother Heroine & Full Set of Silver Orders of Moternal Glory The Order ”Mother Heroine” was one of the most prestigious Soviet civilian awards created to recognize women who gave birth to and raised a large number of children. Number - 451163. The order consists of: A radiating silver star-shaped base. A large five-pointed gold star in the center. A red enamel banner above with the inscription ”Mother Heroine”. Suspension from a small ring attached to the banner mount Order, First Class. Number - 386746. The badge of the order consists of two parts: the main body and an applied red enamel star on the obverse. The reverse of the order is smooth. On the reverse there is one rivet holding the red e. namel star. The rivet is located slightly to the left of the geometric center of the reverse., the mint mark ”MONETNYJ DVOR” (Mint) appears in the lower part of the order, executed in stamped recessed letters in two lines. The serial number of the order is placed horizontally in the lower part of the badge. When the mint mark is present, the number is positioned below it. Order, Second Class. Number - 1067106. The construction of the order, the design of the reverse, and the placement of the mint mark and serial number are identical to those of the First Class order. Variant 2. Mint mark ”MONETNYJ DVOR” (Mint).The serial number is engraved by hand using a graver. The suspension loop of the order is small in size. Order, Third Class, Number - 2863401. The badge of the order is of one-piece construction. The star on the obverse is not a separate element. There is no rivet on the reverse. On early examples, the mint mark is absent. On later pieces, the mint mark ”MONETNYJ DVOR” (Mint) appears in two lines in the lower part of the order. The serial number is placed horizontally in the lower portion of the badge. When the mint mark is present, the number is located below it. Variant 3. The mint mark ”MONETNYJ DVOR” is applied by stamping, and the serial number is engraved using a rotary tool. - First and Second class of Medal of Motherhood. The Medal of Motherhood was established in the Soviet Union on 8 July 1944 to recognize mothers who gave birth to and raised multiple children. The award formed part of a broader system of honors encouraging large families after the heavy demographic losses of World War II. Classes The medal was issued in two classes: 1st Class (Gold-plated medal) Awarded to mothers who gave birth to and raised six children. The medal is gold-plated. The ribbon is typically white with light blue stripes. 2nd Class (Silver medal) Awarded to mothers who gave birth to and raised five children. The medal is silver.
