Several are connected with the famous ”Voroshilov Sharpshooter” program. 1. Voroshilov Sharpshooter Two badges in the top row are the well-known: This program was introduced in the 1930s to encourage military shooting skills among civilians and soldiers. It was organized through: Soviet voluntary military training organizations. These badges were awarded for passing marksmanship standards. 2. Shooting competition badges The badge reading: World Shooting Championship, Moscow 1958is a sports shooting competition badge, likely issued for participants or officials. 3.
