The Modernist landscape is signed lower right and titled verso by the framer who transfered the information from an inscription on the work itself. Robert Inverarity was a Northwest United States area artist, art instructor and author who served as Washington state director of the Federal Art Project from 1936 to 1939. Sight size measures 13.25 x 19.25 with a framed size of 22.5 x 28.5 inches.
