A PAIR OF CHINESE SANG-DE-BOUEF GLAZE PORCELAIN CATS - The pair of Late Qing/Republic Period porcelain recumbent cat figures are depicted sitting on their haunches, the head turned to one side gazing upwards with pricked up ears, applied overall with a richly streaked oxblood glaze, each fitted to a carved hardwood stand. Each measures 10.75 x 6.5 x 4.5 inches without stand.
