A FINE PAIR 19C. GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE CANDELABRA - The fine pair with patinated putto clutching, in one case, a gilt bow, and the other a gilded quiver, each hold aloft a torch issuing four scrolled acanthus arms with candle cups centered by a matching candle holder. The figures are raised on Empire style plinths in the manner of Pierre-Philippe Thomire. The quality is excellent, with soft dore' finish and fine casting, circa third quarter of the 19th century. Each measures 23.5 x 7.5 inches. Without proof of exemption, be aware that internet sales tax applies to all Internet transactions and local sales tax may apply to local pick-up transactions.
