QURAN AND OTHER LEAVES, PERSIAN PAINTINGS, WATERCOLORS - A large estate lot of EIGHT framed works on paper including: 1. An elaborate early 20th century watercolor on paper, Santa Maria Regina Virginia. 2. Two framed Quran leaves. 3. Two Persian paintings. 4. Two-sided illuminated Islamic manuscript leaf. 5. Two Persian miniature paintings with calligraphy verso. 6. The two antique panels are found on a common mount of lacquer circa late 19th century and displayed in a shadowbox frame. The tallest framed image measures 24.25 x 15.75 inches. Each panel measures 16.75 x 11 with a framed size of 24.25 x 29.25 inches. Without proof of exemption, be aware that internet sales tax applies to all Internet transactions and local sales tax may apply to local pick-up transactions. Please note that packing, shipping and post-auction pick-up of winnings will not be available before January 6, 2025. Condition: Apparently the condition is very good, clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. None of these has been examined outside the frame. Panels are in very good condition, noting tape reinforcement lower center, no other serious damage or repair.
