BUFFALO BILL CENTENNIAL PISTOL COLT MODEL 1860 .44CAL - Williamburg Firearms 44 1860 (serial #:1533) Manufactured in 1983. Serial 1533 out of 2500. Cased U.S. Historical Society 'Buffalo Bill Centennial Presentation' Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver. blued 8' streamlined round barrel with creeping lever beneath features ornate gold decoration including images of Cody mounted on horseback and 'William F. Cody' legend on both sides; rebated round cylinder has 4 oval scenes related to Cody and full gold plating; blued 4-screw frame has stagecoach in Monument Valley scene on both sides, blued hammer with gold borders; two-piece gold-plated grip straps with cutout at toe for shoulder stock (not included) and plain one-piece faux ivory grips. Revolver is housed in a large walnut-finished hardwood case having gilt-decorated leather inset in top, engraved brass plaque inside, lined in lovely teal-green velveteen with seven compartments in the French style for gun, gold-plated 'Colts Patent' stand-of-arms powder flask, brass bullet mold with iron tiller-type spruecutter, 1.75' round silver-finish cap box with engraved buffalo on top containing percussion caps, L-shaped combination nipple wrench-screwdriver tool, and two covered compartments with brass knobs containing cast lead balls and key to the case. With envelope of original paper work. Measures 13.5 inches overall with 8 inch barrel.
