Lyman Byxbe (1886-1980) Air Transportation 1935 The rare and desirable aquatint etching from an edition of only 89 impressions is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and titled lower left. Crump catalog raisonne number 168. This is a fine, strong impression and an outstanding example of printmaking. Per Crump, this print was reproduced in the 1935 Omaha World Herald. It was originally produced for the Nebraska Public Works of art project. Image measures 7 x 8.75 with a framed size of 15.75 x 17.5 inches.
