Lyman Byxbe (1886-1980) But Woman's Work is Never Done 1934 The rare and desirable aquatint etching from an unknown edition is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and titled lower left. Number 156 catalogue raisonne by Robert Crump. This is an excellent, richly inked example with strong burr. Per Crump, this print, and its rare companion piece, also included in this auction, was reproduced in the 1935 Omaha World Herald, and also featured in a publicity release for The Human Side of Art, a Smithsonian Institution radio program. It was originally produced for the Nebraska Public Works of Art Project. Image measures 7 x 8.75 with a framed size of 17.5 x 18.75 inches.
