Duard Marshall (1914-2010) Mining Area 1940 The Colorado scene, completed around the time of graduation from the Kansas City Art Institute, is signed and dated lower right front. Marshall attended KCAI from 1935 to 1939. He was a painter, a printmaker, conservator, curator, teacher, museum director and craftsman. Around the same period of this painting, he completed a 30-foot mural commissioned for Neosho, Missouri's centennial celebration, The Centennial Mural , is currently housed in the Neosho Newton County Library. His art is included in the public collections of Kirkland Museum of Art and Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art. Image measures 11.75 x 9 with a framed size of 21.75 x 17.75 inches.
