Robert Sudlow studied under Albert Bloch and Raymond Eastwood at the University of Kansas from 1938 to 1942. After serving in WWII he returned to Lawrence and served as Albert Bloch's teaching assistant at KU. He then took a teaching position at the University of Kansas in 1947 and continued until his retirement in 1987. During this tenure, he was appointed professor of drawing and painting and was later honored as professor emeritus of art. Overall framed size measures 27 x 27 inches.
