Birger Sandzen (Kansas, 1871-1954) In the Foothills 1945 The linocut, published in an edition of 200 prints in three states, is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and titled lower left, Greenough number 90. A fine example, a very dark impression and in exceptional condition. Apparently never framed. Image measures 12 x 16, sheet is 16 x 20, mat is 19.5 x 22.5 inches.
