Bill McKim is quoted as saying, '' As anyone familiar with my work knows, I make little distinction between sacred and profane art. '' William Wind McKim was born in Independence, Missouri and studied painting at KCAI beginning in 1934 under the Thomas Hart Benton and John De Martelly, artists also represented in this auction.
