FINE, UNUSUAL QASHQAI SHEKARLU RUG LAST QUARTER 19TH C. - Of 'white comb' type, the blue field with four white diagonal combs supported by a mass of polychrome trees, plants, medallions and flower heads, including male and female figures with children, a variety of animals and birds including peacocks and a pair if scissors, within a characteristic ivory linked hooked medallion and cruciform vine border, original elem ends. Measures approximately 95 x 60 inches. 7ft.11 inches x 5ft., 240 x 150cm.
