Visible landmarks include the original Yokohama Station (Sakuragicho) at the upper-left, Yokohama Park at the center, and the Motomachi district to the right. The harbor is shown with various steamships and sailing vessels, reflecting the city's status as a primary trade port. A smaller inset in the lower-right corner provides a detailed view of Yokosuka. The map includes several informational tables documenting administrative and economic data of the period. This printing captures the city's infrastructure and street layout prior to the structural changes of the late 1890s and the subsequent destruction of the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake.
