It belongs to a group of similar paintings of views of Colorado rock formations done 1910 through 1914. This canvas interestingly anticipates the color palette and brushwork of Sandzen's works to come. Canvas measures 10 x 18 with a framed size of 16.5 x 24.5 inches.
