Everett Shinn was considered a member of the Ashcan School of American Art. As such, he focused on urban scenes, circus performers, dancers, cafes and gas-lit New York streets while his contemporaries and fellow members depicted grittier realities of the period. This work from his later period touches on those early themes. Board measures 12 x 17 with a framed size of 19.5 x 23.5 inches.
