AN UNUSUAL RED MESA NAVAJO RUG WITH PICTORIAL ELEMENTS - The complex, well-balanced weaving has an all-over field of serrated lengthwise zig-zags in eight-plus colors interspersed by pictorial feathers and fletches, all enclosed by a very unusual border of striking designs side-by-side. Circa 1930-1940. Measures 48 x 82 inches.
