Saint Petersburg: Public use printing House, 1866, 24 l. Solid calico with gold embossed binding, 31 x 33.5 cm. Split the block. Complete state.
Illustrated with chromolithographs, the publication dedicated to Russian history. The paintings occurred during the period from 988 to 1700 years with a detailed review of such historical events as the adoption of Christianity in Kievan Rus', princely internecine war, the invasion of the Tatar-Mongol yoke, the battle of the Neva, the Kulikov battle, the reign of Dmitry Donskoy, Ivan the terrible, time of Troubles, the struggle with the old believers, the beginning of the Romanov dynasty and particularly of Peter I.
Chromolithographs based on drawings by N. Koshelev and P. Krestonostsev. In the publisher's binding, the publisher's cover is preserved. Full set of illustrations. On the flyleaf is an ex-libris with a gift inscription to the owner.
