Handwritten Letter from the Admor Rabbi Shmuel of Slonim
Handwritten and signed letter from the Admor Rabbi Shmuel of Slonim, author of Divrei Shmuel.
The letter includes words of blessing and encouragement and discusses various matters pertaining to his journey and the printing of his sefarim.
Among his words the Admor of Slonim writes: “Please, my brothers, have mercy on us and on yourselves and arouse to strengthen weakened hearts and build what has been destroyed... and those who increase friendship and love... are praiseworthy.”
Rabbi Shmuel Weinberg of Slonim (1850 - 1916) was the second Admor of the Slonim dynasty. A prominent and admired Chassidic leader, he was a disciple of his grandfather- the Admor Rabbi Avraham of Slonim, author of Yesod HaAvoda. He learned from other Chassidic giants as well. Following his grandfather’s passing, he succeeded his position despite his relatively young age of thirty-four. Rabbi Shmuel spent his devoted life immersed in holy and Heavenly spheres, yet remained closely connected to his disciples and exchanged letters of encouragement with them.
