A collection of four books by the great kabbalist Rabbi Emmanuel Hai Rikki author of Mishnat Chassidim – a book of kabbalah according to the kabbalah of the Ari, mentioned many times in chassidic books in general and in the books of Chabad in particular. 1. Mishnat Chassidim, published for the first time with the commentary Taam Atzu by Rabbi Pinchas Eliyahu of Vilna, author of Sefer Habrit. With important approbations, at the end is a long, folded leaf – a sketch of the Ilan Hakadosh. Printed in Krakow, 1889. Ownership stamp not in Hebrew, and ownership stamp: “Zvi Yehuda Posansky – [?] Jerusalem.” [4], 99, [1] leaves. Slight stains, old binding, good general condition. 2. Mishnat Chassidim, published for the first time with the commentary Maggid Mishna by Rabbi Yosef Moshe son of Rabbi Yekutiel Zalman of Dragishtin-Sambar author of Mirkevet Hamishna on the Rambam. With important approbations from foremost chassidic leaders, the Yitav Lev of Sighet and the Imrei Yosef of Spinka, in which they bless people who buy this book “and in this merit God will bless you with children, longevity and prosperity, an abundance of blessing and success…” Printed in Lemberg 1878. Ownership stamp of the kabbalist Rabbi Mordechai Moshe Karfman of Jerusalem. [9], 91 leaves. Stains and tears at the edges of the leaves, title page is slightly restored, good overall condition. 3. The book Choshev Machshavot, kabbalistic teachings on a range of important topics, with kabbalistic illustrations. Second edition – Munkacs, 1896. [1], 64 leaves, detached binding, a few worming holes, without a spine, good overall condition. On the title page is an ownership signature in Sephardic handwriting, not examined in depth. Ownership stamp of the chassidic kabbalist Rabbi Mordechai Moshe Karfman of Jerusalem. And the signature “G B R” and additional interesting signatures. 4. Mishnat Chassidim, part two – Mafteach Haneshamot. Second edition that was printed with the commentary Maggid Sheni by the commentator himself – Satmar, 1930. With approbations from the kabbalists of Jerusalem. 49 leaves. Erased stamps, slight stains, minimal worming holes, good overall condition. Mishnat Chassidim – the magnum opus of the author the kabbalist Rabbi Emmanuel Hai Rikki (1687 – 1743). An important book of kabbalah that was printed in two editions during the author’s lifetime, and subsequently in many editions, and was acclaimed by great rabbis throughout the world. He wrote many other books such as Aderet Eliyahu, Chazeh Zion Tehillim, Hon Ashir and others. The house that the author built in Jerusalem was used by Rabbi Chaim Ben Atar, the Or Hachaim Hakadosh for his yeshiva Knesset Yisrael in Jerusalem.
